Can larger macrocalcifications be seen on a female breast ultrasound/sonogram? i know that ultrasound doesn't typically see microcalcifications?

A breast ultrasound cannot show calcifications. A suspicious area on an ultrasound could however correlate with areas of calcification seen on mammogram.
