It probably has nothing to do with your partner's "gold powder". Sex itself can lead to UTI in women by massaging genital area bacteria into the urethra. (The old term "honeymoon cystitis" referred to UTIs triggered by sex in newly sexually active women.) Ask your doctor about possibly taking a dose of antibiotic before or after sex. Good luck.

I doubt it. You both need good personal hygiene before sex and you, yourself, need to increase fluid intake. Voiding after sex may be helpful for some cases. If UTI persists then urine culture needs to be done for the appropriate antibiotic therapy with a bactericidal antibiotic and a longer course than usual. To the extreme, prophylactic antibiotic therapy may be necessary. Good luck.

Not from the powder - but you can ask him to hold using it. If you have not seen a urologist pl see one to make sure your symptoms are from infection and not local irritation. In the meantime drink plenty of water, empty your bladder when you get the urge and after sex, try a position where the bladder does not get affected during sex, avoid constipation and keep the urinary area clean. G Luck
