A week back, i had been doing lots of chin ups and pull ups on the gym, and recently i have developed slight pain below the bicep region. it does not hurt too much but there is dull pain when i lift something with the left hand and use my bicep?

Sounds like a strain of the muscle. Give it a few weeks rest an avoid lifting heavy things with that arm. Most such cases heal with rest. Good luck
