Hello i was recently diagnosed with morphea scleroderma via biopsy. i have a few lesions in my back and neck. i have negative ana should i be concerned this could be systemic sclerosis? i do not have hand symptoms or any other symptoms as of now?

The term you use "morphea scleroderma" is not correct. No, you are not at risk for systemic sclerosis. MORPHEA or LOCALIZED SCLERODERMA is distinct from systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) and that's why we prefer the term MORPHEA in order to diminish the likelihood of confusion between these two disorders, which can lead to unnecessary patient anxiety. You should not worry, take care.
