A member asked:

I noticed that i develop skin rashes when i consume gluten.i have no other symptoms other than that.does that mean i have celiac disease? can it be a mild form of it?or maybe can it be just gluten intolerence? what symptoms does celiac disease cause?

Gluten is but one component in the complex structure of several grains. In celiac, consumption triggers antibodies that mostly attack the gut lining leading to cramping/diarrhea/pain. You are more likely to have a simple allergy to some of these items, not celiac. Blood tests that show specific antibodies in a person consuming gluten help define celiac. Intestinal biopsy is the standard for dx.

The relationship between gluten (wheat, barley, and rye) ingestion and a skin eruption is suggestive of Celiac but not fully confirmatory. Blood testing and even an intestinal biopsy may be critical to confirm the diagnosis.
