Cosmetic surgery: Surgical techniques which involve skin and soft tissues are at the mercy of fixation techniques and ultimately gravity. Each patient will age differently and each person is subject to the forces of gravity. To explain it simply we all want surgical results to lady as long as possible for our patients but to solar a 5 and 10 warranty on a procedure is not a reliable approach.

Ulterapy: Ultherapy® is a beautifully simple procedure, taking only 30 to 60 minutes to activate the body’s natural healing process in a way that gradually and reliably restores youthfulness to your skin and deep tissue. Over the next 2–3 months, the effect stimulates stronger collagen regeneration. It is not a replacement for a cosmetic procedure.

Facial rejuvenation: Ultherapy has only been out for a few years. Many patients see mild immediate lifting results which improves over time. It can take up to 2-3 months for optimal rejuvenation. There is no comparison with a facelift surgery which is more dramatic and long lasting. Realistic expectations lead to happy patients using both approaches.

Lasting results: The length of time a procedure lasts depends on the age of the patient, the techniques used and the quality of the tissues. Results from non surgical treatments will be less dramatic as well as less long lasting.

Really depends.: Results from either procedure really depends on the patient's facial characteristics and specifically the procedure performed. In terms of how long something last i think it's easier to talk about when should something be repeated. It is definitely abnormal to repeat a facelift after less than 5 years. However, despite effects lasting 2-3 years with ulthera it can be repeated after 6 months.

Surgery results: I doubt that a mini endoscopic facelift will have results that blast 5-10 years. More like 3-5 years at best. Ultherapy accomplishes very little.

Varies greatly: The results and longevity will vary greatly depending on the techniques used as well as the age of the patient.
