I will be having endoscopic ultrasound next week. they are checking me for neoplasms/tumors in the pancreas. does eus have high negative predictive value? if my eus is clear should i be relieved and not think about pancreas in the next few years?

Ultrasound of the pancreas to check for neoplasms in a 22 yo female is not the most definitive method of representing presence or absence of neoplastic tumor formation. Need more information as to the reason for the ultrasound. "Endoscopy" is usually not accompanied by an ultrasound determination, but is used for direct visualization/biopsy of GI lesions.
