I had a ct scan of the abdomen/pelvis yesterday with oral contrast and then an iv. after drinking the oral contrast i got diarrhea. is this normal with oral contrast and how long will it last? made me nauseous also?

Some people get nausea and diarrhea from oral contrast. Usually these symptoms would go away within 2 to 3 days. If they last longer than two or three days, recommendation would be to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
