Yes, gallbladder sludge can be seen on ultrasound study. Report that you cite sounds like a normal study. If you had undergone the US for purpose of investigation of abdominal pain, it is not from gallstone disease. Your doctor needs to look for other causes, including common causes such as peptic ulcer disease or gallbladder dyskinesia. Less common causes can include cancer.
