Could still be GB: If your pain is classic for gallbladder pain and no other cause has been found, you may end up needing gallbladder surgery despite the normal function test. The characteristics of your pain will be the best guide to the next step for you and your healthcare providers.

Surgery, IF...: ...Your pain is due to your gallstones. Typical gb pain is localized to the right-upper or upper-midline abdomen; it is a dull, pressure-like pain that tends to last for an hour or more; nausea+/-vomiting often accompanies the pain; while diarrhea may accompany an attack, it is not "classic". If this rings a bell, i would see a surgeon. Btw-ct scans do not demonstrate gb function. Good luck!
