18 yr old female. history of non-symptomatic gallstones dissolved with help of ursodiol. i have slight gallbladder wall thickening any idea why? also, my gb always appears contracted on ultrasound despite fasting-why, anything to do about it?

Gall stones can cause thickening of the wall of the GB. Gall bladder shape and size vary with the conditions affecting it.

Bro has 16mm gallstone, the doctor can't rectify if it's cholesterol stones or pigment ones. Can he use ursodiol or actigall or urso medication and see if they dissolve instead of gallbladder removal?
