I would give any treatment/management changes to address this issue at least 2-3 weeks before expecting noticeable change. In the interim, also avoid caffeine or dark chocolates within 6 hrs of sleeping. Avoid laying down for 2 hours after any meal. Rx and behavioral changes can easily improve things if you give it time to work.
