Liver enzymes can be elevated whenever there is any inflammatory process, including a Covid infection. They can also be elevated due to fatty liver disease and, if present, they can go up and down with fatty liver disease. If they are trending down, they will likely normalize. If they are not trending down, you can see a liver specialist to diagnose the issue and treat/monitor as needed. Good luck

Cove it is not known to cause liver enzyme elevation for several months. Elevated liver enzymes need to be evaluated with lab work that would check for viral hepatitis, iron overload syndrome, copper metabolism, issues, or autoimmune liver disease. Other possibilities include excess alcohol use or supplements or medication’s that inflame the liver.
