Covid positive.. 22 days now.. age 54... i took steroid (meldrol) and my sugar is ok. but my liver test shows sgot 76, sgpt 129. it was never this high. what could be the reason. steroid? will it come down to its normal level without medication. thax?

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, either Covid infection or steroids could be the cause. The level is to be concerned about, you could retest in 3-6 months. Wish you good health!
