I had an adrenalectomy when i was a child, diagnosed as a benign tumor. what labs should i be getting to see how my 1 adrenal gland is functioning? can immunosuppressant infusions for ms cause my adrenal gland to fail?

One of the benefits of having a pair of organs is one can be lost without life altering changes. The adrenal gland has a role in assuring proper salt balance in blood as well as natural stress hormone. Your checkups where they validate your routine blood test (electrolytes) is an indirect measure of your remaining gland function. Make sure your doc knows your status but I wouldn't worry about it.
