I've been put on 50mcg of synthroid (thyroxine) for hashimoto thyroiditis. how long before i see any results ?

Recheck: It is customary to recheck your thyroid levels within 2 to 4 weeks of starting treatment to guide you. Starting with a low dose and working upwards is the proper treatment but symptoms may not improve until you reach therapeutic doses which often are higher than 50mcg.
