I woke up and found tiny red blood dots in a small area in my arm , it doesn't hurt or tickle but what could it be? I have just started B12, Iron and vitamin D supplements as I have low levels, does this have anything to do with them?
Blood test showed low iron saturation at 14%, normal 20-40%. Only other abnormal lab was elevated B12 at 1297. I do take a B12 supplement because I was told years ago I was deficient. Are these concerning??
What blood test would show possible blood loss? Good hemoglobin, red blood cells, hematocrit, TIBC Low iron, low mcv, low mch, low iron saturation. This test was done two days before menstruation. Could I be long on overall blood supply?
Low heamaglobin (and all corresponding red blood cell tests) but normal iron and ferritin. what can cause this? is this anemia or something else?
