LPR: You have what sounds like laryngopharyngeal reflux(LPR). This is a common condition from reflux also known as GERD. Man patients only have LPR symptoms. Aggressive Rx with acid suppression is suggested with a PPI ( proton pump inhibitor) such as omeprazole- it may take 4-8 weeks to get better.
