The best time to take Levothyroxine is first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Definitely avoid taking it at night since it can cause sleeplessness, and avoid taking it with Calcium or Magnesium supplements since it can cause decreased absorption. (Meals high in calcium can also cause decreased absorption)
