Unfortunately, bacterial vaginitis is very common. You and your partner must both be treated to prevent reinfection. If you have multiple partners, use a barrier method of contraception such as a condom to prevent reinfection. Taking vaginal health probiotics may help replenish normal vaginal flora after antibiotic use.

It is important to wipe from the front backward rather than from the anal area to the front. Your nutrition also affect the type of your gut flora and could make a difference in the types of bacteria that a found that are less likely to be pathogenic and cause inflammation. If you read more about the effect of nutrition on gut flora on the internet you would understand better about the concept.
