Kindly asking write now using amiodarone for paroxmal afib in a maintenance dose of 300 to 400 mg so electrophysiologist advice on trying dronedarone as asafe drug than amiodarone but im confused with starting dose of multaq as 200 or 400 bid safety?

You have to abide by the advice of your electrophysiologist here especially where you're switching from amiodarone without omitting it for a day or two before starting multaq. The iodide component has been taken out of multaq giving it a better tolerance than amiodarone, but it's felt to be less effective than amiodarone by many of us who have seen it used.
