A member asked:

Can low testosterone/hypogonadism cause significant brain atrophy and encephalomalacia?

There are genetic disorders associated with both primary brain pathology and hormonal dysfunction. However, acquired declining testosterone does not cause brain atrophy directly, and other explanations must be sought for the latter.
