I assume the thickness was measured with a distended bladder and you meant a bladder cyst. If these assumptions are correct then you may need a cystoscopy done if you do not have history of bladder outlet obstruction, recurrent cystitis or local radiation, and especially the bladder ultrasound was done because of abnormal urinalysis. Thickness of 3.8 mm is not abnormal if bladder wasn't distended.
