PWs are rather benign hitch hiker parasites that feed off the leftover material in colon fecal debris. Their human symptoms are triggered when the female lays eggs in a glue like material around/outside the anus that is irritating & causes a rash. It has nothing to do with dental or bone density issues. They don't live in the mouth. PWs can be present during any health problem they don't cause.

Pinworm does not live in the mouth. Tooth decay and gum disease caused by various microscopic bacterias, not macroscopic parasites. Parasite infection determined by examination, history, and lab tests. Oral infections determined by examination & x-rays. You must first see Physician for Dx & Rx to eliminate parasites, the Dentist to cure oral infections.
