Knee ligament : Most common knee injury after pop leading to instability, swelling, pain is an acl tear. Medial pain could be meniscus or mcl injury. Another possibility could include patellar dislocation....But usually more obvious.
Dr. Bernard Bach Jr
Orthopedic Surgery 42 years experience
Possible ACL tear: It could be an ACL tear, or medial meniscus, or both. See a sports medicine trained orthopedic doctor, for an accurate diagnosis and treatment.
