Had a virus in march and alt and ast have gradually increased since then. alt was 60 in march and 80 in may and now in july it is 100. and ast is now elevated to 47. should i be concerned. had ultrasound of abdomen and results were normall?

Since the numbers are trending up, it is concerning. You need to avoid alcohol and any meds that are mostly liver metabolized, like acetaminophen and NSAIDS-like ibuprofen. You can also see a liver specialist to figure out what is causing the numbers to still be rising even though the virus has run its course. The liver specialist will likely check more labs and fully evaluate your liver.
