Time to time I get itchy rashes around my joints. I can go a year without it happening. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) helps it to go away. Any ideas what could cause this?
Why do I get an itchy red flushing rash when I get hot or am in a hot environment for even short (less than 30) periods of time. What could cause this?? Allergy meds (Benadryl and Vistaril) stop the itching but I still have red and hot skin for hours

I have been having extremely itchy skin. Starts on hands and feet. Sometimes on the rest of my body. There are no marks to show any signs of rash. That is until I claw myself to death. Wondered if it may be a sign of diabetes. Never had this before. Lotion does not help. I have not changed any kind of soap or shampoo or detergent. I can take a Benadryl and it will stop. Itching?
