I had a l staple go through my index finger right on the side of knuckle and it's swollen and can barely move it. not sure of it hit bone or not what should k do?

The staple can't go through if it hit the bone. Because it is a deep wound so infection may occur and tetanus is also a concern if you are not immunized although I doubt the latter possibility. You may need antibiotic so you should see a doctor if feasible. Good luck.
