A member asked:

Does anyone have a statistical medical journal on the following: "what percentage of people over the age of 50, 60, and etc have calcium deposits in their coronary arteries?" p.s. i follow the dash diet?

Excellent on the DASH eating plan. Ask Dr to check your urine Na, K and creatinine or use the app Cronometer to validate you are at goal Na & K intake. Best of all diets. I would go to uptodate.com and read all about heart calcium testing to get the details. The majority of men in US will have Calcium in hearts at this age. Some will have none. DASHing will likely prevent them or stop them.
