NATURALLY, atherosclerotic vascular disease (one of the manifestations is calcium plaques by X-ray studies) progresses with AGING, worse in patients with history of uncontrolled hypertension and hyperlipidemia, usually more pronounced in men than women at the same age and same risk factors.
