Had a cold a couple weeks ago. since then i have throat discomfort but only when swallowing. worse in the middle of night/morning, lasts all day & improves when i swallow a bunch of times and fine when eating. discomfort changes sides. throat cancer?

Not likely unless you chew, smoke or dip but I would look inside. If so and/or family history of CA throat get real life exam.
