MRSA is now so common it accounts for a majority of simple pustules and abscesses docs see in their office. It can be found on many surfaces/door knobs/floors/etc. The nasal membranes with their moisture/mucus as germ food are a common carrier site. With your history & the fact the nose is a common silent carrier site, I would not get a piercing there if anywhere.

You are looking for severe issues if you proceed with your cosmetic plans. Would also avoid any tattoos. I too feel there is a profound risk of recurrent MRSA.
