Woke up with a burning sensation off and on in my achilles tendon/heel area a few days ago. not sure what it could be? taking tylenol, but it's not doing much. no recent falls or injuries. any suggestions on what it could be? thank you?

When stretching Achilles tendon, there is a pulling sensation and burning pain in the back of my heel. Doing calf wall stretches, heel drops on a step. The towel stretch doesn't hurt, but burns afterwards. Should I stop the stretches until PT?

Start with heel pain, then Achilles tendon pain. Now both gone but pain goes to whole ankle. Feel ankle pain at dawn when sleep as well. No injury.
