Does the interstim implant work for voiding dysfunction/non obstructive urinary retenion due to neurogenic bladder? and does it help with voiding too just like catheterization which empties bladder on its own or does the implant only send signals?

The implant is mainly used for people with overactive bladder, not indicated for urinary retention due to neurogenic bladder.

Yes it can. The implant is a stimulator of nerves by giving electrical signals when activated Pl see a neuro Urologist who has experience with this as He/she will do a complete evaluation and decide if this will work for you. Good luck
