The ultrasound is routine and does not indicate increased suspicion. Certainly some tumors appear on ultrasound but not on mammography, so the test is important, but your risk of breast cancer depends on many things including age, number of children, breast feeding, and family history. Also, follow up of any palpable lump is important even if nothing is seen on mammogram or ultrasound.
