I had covid in the first wave and it caused white patches in my lungs, visible in the ct scan. i now have mild breathing problems. the pulmonary specialist said there's no cure for the patches then. are there any new treatments available now?

There is no treatment or cure for lung scarring, which is the most likely explanation for "patches" seen on CT that persist for months or years. You don't say the nature of your "mild breathing problems", but it may have nothing to do with your past covid or the lung patches. Your pulmonary specialist is the one to discuss this with.
