Normal or not?: After the removal of wisdom teeth, patients may experience some swelling. Some patients have little or no swelling, while others may have some significant increase during the first two to three days after surgery. Usually by the third day the swelling should peak and decrease. If you are still swollen after one week, contact your dentist or surgeon for advice and follow up.
