A member asked:

Can petechiae be associated with heat? ive found that after warm showers/heaters/jumpers i get thousands of non blanching dots on legs and arms which fade over 2-3 days. definitely aggravated by heat, fades in cold, ongoing over the last week?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not really aware of heat being contributory to these type of lesions. Suggest that you see dermatologist to supply adequate history and obtain adequate phys exam along with clotting studies to help make proper diagnosis.
