A 41-year-old female asked:
What is stronger, morphine sulfate or methadone? i'm getting tolerant to 100mg of morphine 3x/day & need a break, hoping to find something equal.

Methadone vs. MS: Methadone is definitely stronger than the same dose of morphine, but to switch from one to another you need to talk to your doc about that. Methadone has been falling out of favor for pain purposes due to its short duration of analgesic effect and multiple side effects.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
