A member asked:

Hi we are planning for a frozen embryo transfer in august in a normal cycle (i.e. no medication) and i am wondering if we can go for the ultrasound on day 13. is that too late? thanks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If your cycles are "regular" (24-32 days apart), ovulation even if it occurred on day 10-11 will still be supportive of an embryo transfer on "day 13", and your IVF physician may provide guidance for supportive progesterone. Embryo transfer is not automatically successful, however, and repeated attempts may be necessary.
