A member asked:

What does q/r in 1/3 of avr mean on a ecg?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

When I interpret an ECG, I & most of my fellow readers don't comment on this metric. I assume the reader commented on the fact that the depth of the Q wave in lead AVR was 1/3rd of the height of the R wave. Q waves in leads AVR & lead 3 can be any size and have no significance unless we see pathologic Q waves in leads 2 & AVF
