Why abdominal ultra sound not including stomach scan?

An abdominal ultrasound does not include good visualization of the stomach, primarily because The air and gases inside the stomach make it a difficult organ to visualize using ultrasound. A CT scan or an endoscopy are better ways to visualize the stomach. Good luck.
