I applied permethrin cream 5% on my face with acne. i left it on for around 6 hours. i regret doing so as i dont have any scabies. im concerned for my acne and wonder if it could have affected it in any way. should i be concerned?

If you are lucky nothing will happen. If your skin is sensitive to any component of the cream it may aggravate any irritation you have at baseline. The worst case scenario would be a contact allergy that may be seen 18-24 hours after application and be like a 1st degree burn.

Yes, you should be concerned. It has to do with actions that you seem to lose responsibility over and end up causing harm to yourself. Please inform your doc treating your acne as you need to be seen in order to have a proper plan going forward.
