It is a SSRI and mainly used for OCD but it may be used for generalized anxiety disorder. Response to SSRI med varies a lot among people but for sure there is no bad news about this SSRI. Good luck with your treatment.

Luvox is an SSRI drug, a large class of drugs typically used as first line for anxiety and OCD. Individual response is always hard to predict and counseling and lifestyle changes are always to be considered as well.
