In general, probably best to hold at least the dose or two before the procedure. However, each dentist or oral surgeon may have his or her own policies. And depending on why you're on Lovenox, the advice of the prescribing doctor might be important. Check with either or both offices at least a couple of days before the scheduled extraction. Good luck.

A simple extraction with little bleeding is not a problem. A surgical extraction with bleeding could be a problem. Either way don't take aspirin, ibuprofen, or naproxen to avoid bleeding. Consult with doctor before extraction.
