Infection: A post operative infection is possible after any surgical procedure. Inflammation from the mechanical trauma of the surgery can cause the nerves in the area to behave abnormally. The area should be evaluated by the surgeon asap. Medication may be indicated and important to initiate as soon as possible if needed.
