Hi, i have been having chinese accupuncture since last summer to strenghen immune system buti am now bruising after treatments. on my stomach a bruise the size of small fingernail so worried. why is it happening. reputable doctor?

If you are having bruising from the small acupuncture needles, you may have a reason for easy bruising. Are you on blood thinner medication, for example? If so, that may be the reason for the bruising. If not, you should see your doctor and get some bloodwork done to be certain there is not a treatable cause. Good luck to you!

It is likely that you have now a medical condition/new meds or supplements that are making you prone to bleed. Starting work up with your primary care doc is strongly recommended.
