I may have caught hiv from the barber's hair clipper (he didn't sterilize it) because he cut me a little and gave me a small fold, he had cut the previous client's hair 20 minutes ago, hiv survives that much and can infect after this period of time?

HIV cannot be transmitted through above mentioned mechanism unless fresh contaminated blood on it, blood coagulates or clots in seconds, viruses do not live on inanimate surfaces or in the air. There is still a risk for transmission for other germs and the wound should be watched closely until healed.
