My a1c is 5.7% but glucose tolerance test is 77mg/dl. what dose this mean? am i at high risk becoming diabetic? i took hormone meds for a long time after endometriosis surgeries and several steroid shots for neck/back stenosis. are those affecting?

With HbA1C of 5.7% (less than 5.7 is normal) and glucose tolerance test of 77 mg% I would say you are NOT pre-diabetic, especially if your fasting blood sugar (FBS) is less than 100. If your FBS is 100 or higher then HbA1C should be rechecked in 3-6 months. Good luck.
