B4 pregnancy, fasting glucose was 99, a1c 5.2. pregnant atm and will take the glucose tolerance test soon. will my high fasting glucose b4 pregnancy make me fail this test? any tips and advice on how to prevent gestational diabetes? very concerned?

Hba1c was very reassuring. Pregnancy is a state of high insulin resistance. Take the glucose tolerance test in a timely fashion. Eat healthy regularly , exercise and stay active. Good luck.
